Crosman Corporation, best known for its popular airguns, archery products, optics and accessories, has announced it has acquired laser sight systems manufacturer LaserMax for an undisclosed sum, just weeks after itself being acquired by another company.

In a press release confirming the deal, Crosman touted LaserMax as a “global leader in hardened and miniaturized laser systems, offering a comprehensive line of premium laser sights for home defense, personal protection and training use” with “significant intellectual property in laser technology” since its founding back in 1989.
“LaserMax is well-known for its innovative laser products in the shooting sports accessory market, and the cross-selling synergies with Crosman’s airgun and archery products are clear and highly attractive. We are excited to be able to strengthen our product line for outdoor enthusiasts by adding this iconic brand to the Crosman portfolio,” Crosman CEO Robert Beckwith said.
Crosman is no stranger to the acquisition process. Last month, the Bloomfield, N.Y. company was acquired by Westport, Conn.-based Compass Diversified Holdings for $152 million. In the firearms space, Compass also owns 5.11 Tactical and Liberty Safe.
