Custom Masterpiece: Gary Reeder Custom Guns

gary-reeder2.gif

The El Diablo is built on a Ruger old model 3 screw and chambered in .44 Special. Over the past couple of months, Gary Reeder had quite a few inquiries about building the gun in larger calibers, like .475 Linebaugh, .510 GNR and others. Finally, they decided to do it, and that is the El Diablo II. It is built on the customers base gun, being a new model Ruger Blackhawk or Super Blackhawk. Reeder furnishes a beefy 5 shot cylinder and heavy barrel in the caliber of the customers choice, new Bisley style Gunfighter Grip, set back trigger, their interchangeable blade system front sight with the gold bead front sight and V rear, gold bands on the cylinder and barrel and some simple scroll engraving. Then they give it their deluxe Black Chromex finish. It has all their normal features like Positive Performance Package, freewheeling cylinder, action job, Deep Dish Crown, Maxi Throat and more.

Kase Reeder, Gary Reeder’s son, had came up with the all new 1911 Black Widow. This pitch black beauty comes chambered in the .45ACP, features a full custom Caspian slide with Novak Tritium front sight and low profile Bomar rear. The frame is a custom STI frame with a Tactical Impact Spike milled into it. This lady of the night also features the Ed Brown memory groove beavertail, a Chip McCormick extended safety, the Ed Brown Hard Core hammer, all Ed Brown tuned internals, a Kart National match barrel and bushing. Topping it all off are the black widow spiders, spider webs and their time proven Black Chromex finish. A super tuned action job gives the Black Widow a light and smooth trigger pull and accuracy second to none. For more information visit www.reedercustomguns.com
