The issue recently identified by CZ-USA involves an issue when the safety is engaged. According to the company, it has discovered that some All-American Single Trap shotguns have the potential for unintentional discharge.

The discharge may occur when the trigger is pulled with the safety engaged. Similarly, it can happen when the shotgun is dropped with the safety engaged.

CZ-USA requests that you stop using your All-American Trap shotgun immediately and not load it until it can be inspected. The company states that the recall covers all All-American Single Trap 12-gauge shotguns, which includes 30-inch barrel, 32-inch barrel, and 34-inch barrel. However, if you are still uncertain if your shotgun is covered, you can check your serial number on the website.

CZ-USA states that they will have to replace some parts, but it will not affect the appearance of your shotgun. Due to the inconvenience, CZ will pay for all shipping and packaging involved in returning the shotgun for the upgrade. Likewise, the inspection and upgrade are done free of charge. The only expense to the owner is the time involved.

Returning Your All-American Single Trap Shotgun

To return your shotgun for inspection and upgrade, please start your claim at CZAllAmericanSingleTrapRecall.com. You will be directed to a form to get the process started. Once your claim is received, CZ-USA will send out an RMA (Return of Merchandise Authorization) and packing materials.

Just place your shotgun into the provided packaging and drop it off at your local FedEx office. Although some states may require the use of an FFL, federal law allows you to send the shotgun directly to CZ-USA for repair purposes. Likewise, CZ can also ship it directly back to you. However, it is important to check your state and local laws to ensure that this is the case where you live.

Regarding the turnaround time, the company does not currently have any information on that. But, they will make every effort to return it as soon as possible. Repairs will be made in the order in which they are received. So, the earlier you start the process, the faster you will get it back.
