Shooter Ready: The CZ P-10 F Competition-Ready Pistol

Sometimes, it’s all about the go. For those pushing the limits in practical pistol and 3-gun competition, the CZ P-10 F Competition-Ready delivers a match-worthy, striker-fired platform chambered in 9mm. As such, it becomes the latest competition gun from a company firmly entrenched in practical shooting.

The P-10 F Competition-Ready comes not from that long line of competition, but from the CZ P-10 C. Released in 2017, the compact, polymer-framed gun met the needs for military/law enforcement and self-defense. CZ followed with the P-10 S and P-10 F. Earlier today, CZ released its latest carry version to the line, the P-10 M.

The new P-10 F Competition-Ready features a barrel and slide measuring a half-inch longer than the full-size model. It provides a longer sight radius for the included fiber-optic front and fixed, serrated rear sight. The system delivers on accuracy, according to CZ. Additionally, the slide accepts mounting plates for most popular micro red dot optics.

The polymer-framed pistol utilizes three interchangeable backstraps for customization. The system delivers ergonomics similar to the CZ 75, while the hammer-forged, 5-inch barrel sports a black, nitride finish.

The pistol comes with an Apex Tactical extended magazine catch, Apex Tactical extended slide stop, HB Industries trigger and Apex Tactical back-slide cover. The longer barrel also incorporates improved ramp geometry and a match, 9mm chamber. Both features improve reliability and accuracy, according to CZ. Finally, gold accents to the barrel slide cover and trigger ensure you’ll stand out on the firing line.
