CZ SP-01 Competition Red & Blue Pistols
Inheriting its build quality from its parent model, the SP-01, the fit and finish are clean and tight. The steel slide, with forward and rear serrations, rides cleanly on a steel guide rod for consistent reliability and performance. Nestled in the slide is a 4.5-inch cold hammer-forged barrel, chambered for 9mm. Sitting atop the slide are a fiber optic front sight, coupled with serrated rear sight.
Available in metallic red or blue, the custom aluminum grips feature checkering for additional control and retention. Housed within the grip is a 21+1 round magazine, as a result of a +4 mag base. This increases the standard amount of rounds you can send downrange between reloads, significantly. The CZ SP-01 include two nickel-plated magazines with the extended aluminum +4 base pads.
A lighter recoil spring allows for running target loads through the pistols. The competition hammer also provides a crisp, light trigger pull. With a lightened hammer spring, the pistol feels lively and markedly responsive.
Catering to both right- and left-handed shooters, the CZ SP-01 has an ergonomic design that fits both hands. Additionally, the ambidextrous safety is positioned at the rear of the frame, directly above the grip. Finally, just forward of the grip is a three slot picatinny rail, allowing for accessories like lights or lasers.
