Timney DH3 Trigger
Horner and Tinney’s engineers set out to create the ultimate AR-style trigger, according to Timney. Laid out to Horner’s specifications, Timney designed the trigger to withstand a lifetime of competition.
Timeny and Horner backed that goal up in testing. Professional shooters fired nearly 15,000 rounds, in both .223 and .308 actions. No difference could be felt by shooters after all that testing. Engineers measured to the thousandth of an inch for take up and overtravel, and ounces for pull weight. The Timney DH3 passed all tests with flying colors, according Timney.
The DH3 trigger housing features a military-grade, 6061 T6 allow CNC machined using state-of-the-art equipment. Timney anodizes the trigger housing for durability. The trigger also utilizes CNC machined parts, both heat treated and coated. The A2 steel sear and disconnect and S7 tool steel hammer are wire EDM cut. Timney heat treats the parts to 58-60 Rockwell and Teflon-nickel coats for lubricity and long service life.
