New York-based gun maker Dark Storm Industries has introduced its DS-10 rifle line, new for 2017.

Available in .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor, these complete rifles are available in three different models: the MOE, Typhoon and Lightning. The MOE variant features an 18-inch HBAR barrel, Magpul MOE stock,Magpul MOE pistol grip and Magpul M-LOK forearm. The Typhoon model adds a billet ambidextrous safety, tactical charging handle, Hogue rubberized grip, Magpul CTR and a 15-inch DSI free- float M-LOK handguard. The Lightning comes with a Troy Industries Alpha 15-inch Battle Rail, a 416 stainless steel barrel and a nickel-boron coated bolt carrier group.
All three of these rifles come in three different configurations to satisfy your needs wherever you may live. There’s the standard version, the featureless model, and the fixed magazine rifles. For those living in less restrictive states, the standard version is available with a detachable 20-round Magpul PMAG. The DS-10 featureless model is meant for those looking for a detachable magazine rifle in a state like California or New York. It includes a non-threaded barrel, a 10-round Magpul PMAG and a Thordsen FRS (Fixed Rifle Stock). Meanwhile, the DS-10 fixed magazine rifles utilize Dark Storm’s FX series lower receiver which has a non-detachable magazine to comply with state prohibitions on rifles with certain features with a detachable magazine, including California, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts, the press release says.
The DS-10 line has a suggested retail price of $1195.00 – $1545.00 depending on model, color, and caliber.
