Dark Storm Industries, LLC. has added two new models to its DS-15 line of modern sporting rifles.
New for 2014 are the Typhoon and Super Typhoon.
Built on the DS15 billet lower receiver, the Typhoon series is chambered in 5.56 NATO and features ambidextrous safety and sling mount points, as well as an ultralight 12-inch key-mod forearm to allow for installation of accessories without the need for heavy rails.

The Typhoon is available in four configurations: standard, non-detachable magazine, post ban and featureless.
Standard and non-detachable magazine models include a Magpul CTR stock, Hogue pistol grip and DSI CQB compensator. Featureless models include the Thordsen FRS-15 fixed rifle stock.
The Super Typhoon upgrades the standard stainless steel trigger to a 4-pound billet drop-in style trigger.
The Typhoon retails for $1,095, while its Super upgrade retails for $1,195.
