The Ruger 10/22 remains one of the most ubiquitous rimfire rifles around. Whether a first gun, plinker, game getter or high-end competition gun, there’s seemingly a 10/22 for everyone. Now a new collaboration between Davidson’s and Ruger produces a 10/22 Target Rifle worthy of a collector or competitor.
Davidson’s Ruger 10/22 Target
This 10/22 Target features an ambidextrous Altamont laminate thumbhole stock. Beautiful in form, it provides high utility, working equally well for right- and left-handed shooters. A 16 1/8-inch cold hammer-forged stainless bull barrel utilizes fluting to reduce weight and dissipate heat. The muzzle wears a 1/2″-28 pattern to accommodate common barrel accessories.
Ruger’s popular BX-Trigger provides a rugged, reliable firing control system. It delivers a light, crisp 2.5-3-pound pull, exhibiting minimal overtravel with a positive reset, according to Davidson’s. A blued finish and drilled and tapped receiver round out the features.
“Davidson’s is known for our extensive line-up of exclusive firearms”, said Kane Cannedy, VP of Purchasing for Davidson’s. “The sheer number of special make-ups we have produced with Ruger is a reflection of our successful and years-long relationship with this iconic manufacturer.”
