In a word, the sixgun remains classic. Regardless of the maker or design, a six-shot, single-action revolver evokes everything Americana. Last year, Ruger tapped into that spirit with the Wrangler, to much fanfare. Now Davidson’s releases an exclusive Ruger Wrangler revolver sure to excite rimfire fans.
Davidson’s Exclusive Ruger Wrangler Revolver Details
Chambered in .22 LR, the new Davidson’s Ruger Wrangler exhibits an attractive Plum Brown Cerakote coating. The finish covers both the frame and the 4 5/8-inch non-tapered barrel. The aluminum cylinder features a black finish. Meanwhile, the hammer and trigger sport stainless finishes.
“Ruger has long been one of our favorite manufacturing partners to produce Davidson’s Exclusives”, said Kane Cannedy, Davidson’s VP of Purchasing. “We knew from day one of the Wrangler’s introduction that there would be Davidson’s Exclusives coming.”
The impressive little sixgun retails for just $208. With an expected huge interest, Davidson’s will limited the availability initially to FFL holders. However, shooters can find the revolver on GallyerofGuns.com as welll.
The sixgun, in all forms, remains an American classic. But this new version from Davidson’s ups the ante on even Ruger’s previous Wrangler revolver. Get this one while its hot, as we don’t expect it to last very long.
