Diamondback Firearms has made its name over the years on semi-auto guns. First came the DB380 and DB9 carry guns, followed by its entry into the AR-15 market. Now Diamondback pivots again with the nine-shot Sidekick revolver, chambered in .22 LR and .22 Mag.
Diamondback Sidekick Details
The Sidekick features a classic swing-out cylinder design. It enables a fast reloads, but also switching out cylinders between the standard and magnum options. With cylinders in both .22 LR and .22 Mag, the Sidekick brings tremendous utility from casual shooting to small game.
The revolver weighs in a 32.5 ounces overall. The design incorporates the cylinder release into an old school ejection rod. The pistol comes with a black Cerakote finish, while the polymer grip panels feature checkering. A rear integral and fixed front blade provide the sight picture. The design should promote fast work out of the holster, perfect for this cowboy-themed pistol. It comes with a 4.5-inch barrel with a 1:16 RH twist and six groove rifling.
“Diamondback Firearms cut their teeth in the industry by producing their ultra-compacts DB380 and DB9 pistols and are also well known for their high-quality AR-15 rifles,” says Rachel Maitlitz, Marketing Manager for Diamondback America. “This year, we are working hard to expand our product line and bring new designs to the market. The DB Sidekick is the latest product in the Diamondback lineup and helps expand Diamondback’s product offerings into new areas.”
The Sidekick comes with a retail price of just $320. For even more info, please visit diamondbackfirearms.com.
