Best known for its quality firearms and accessories, DoubleStar is getting into the sharper end of things in a big way with its new “edged weapons” lineup. One of the offerings in that category that caught our attention is the DoubleStar Fang blade.
Built for the everyday carry crowd, the DoublesStar Fang blade boasts a 2.875-inch 1095 carbon steel tanto point blade and chisel ground edge for ease of maintenance and superior piercing strength. It also features DoubleStar’s Dragon Hyde DLC coating, textured G-10 scales and a built-in bottle opener on the base of the handle.
The DoubleStar Fang can be carried inside the waistband, in your pocket or as a neck knife. It comes with a Kydex sheath with a Tek Lok clip. The overall length of this knife is 6.7 inches.
As we said up top, the Fang is part of DoubleStar’s new edged weapons line. The models in that lineup are designed by Rob Cabrera, the owner of Filo Bladeworks and a practitioner of the Filipino Martial Arts of Eskrima, Kali and Arnis.
