DRD Tactical recently announced the company was awarded a fixed quantity-fixed price contract for M4 uppers to a U.S. Allied country in Asia. The contract enables the end user country to upgrade its M16 weapon systems.

DRD Tactical M4 Uppers
DRD Tactical M4 uppers for this contact include billet upper receivers, M-LOK compatible handguards and a 14.5-inch M4 barrel. The upper receiver assembly includes front and rear flip-up sights along with a carbine stock kit.
DRD Tactical CDR16 Machine Guns, a base gun in the company’s LE/MIL line, features lower and upper receivers machined from aircraft grade billet aluminum. Calibers available include both 5.56 NATO and 300 BLK. The rifles run on a direct impingement system.
The melanite-plated barrel comes in 10.5-, 11.5-, 14.5-, 16- and 20-inch overall lengths. Meanwhile, both 10- and 15-inch rails, depending on the barrel length, feature MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail on the top and M-LOK mounting points elsewhere.
DRD Tactical specializes in design and manufacturing of its patented Take Down Rifles in .338 Lapua Magnum, 7.62 NATO, 6.5 Creedmoor, 5.56 NATO and 300 BLK calibers. The company also produces select-fire machine guns in 7.62 NATO, 5.56 NATO and 300 BLK. All guns come out of the company’s CNC manufacturing facility located in Georgia.
