Ed Brown Compact 1911: Officer-Sized Frame, Commander-Length Slide

Missouri-based gun maker Ed Brown Products has added a compact model to its venerable lineup of 1911s.

Built as a result of customer demand, the Ed Brown Compact 1911 has an Officer’s sized frame for easy concealment, as well as a 4.25-inch Commander model slide for a longer sight radius. This gun comes standard with the custom features one would expect on an Ed Brown 1911, like fully-machined components and a lifetime written warranty.

“It is always exciting to add new models, and the new Compact 1911 really shows our customers that we are working to meet their needs,” John May, Ed Brown’s Sales and Marketing Director, said in a statement.

MSRP for the Ed Brown Compact 1911 starts at $2,695, which goes up should you choose to personalize it to your liking.
