Ed Brown Special Forces SOCOM Features

The SOCOM utilizes fully machined components and is loaded with features, making it ready for hard use, befitting its name. The 1911 features American flag rear cocking serrations, while the slide finish is black Gen4 coating. Meanwhile, the Gen4 lower features an FDE finish.

The Special Forces SOCOM features a Trijicon RMR with hard-anodized coyote brown finish. SOCOM selected the Trijicon RMR as its Handgun Reflex Sight following extensive testing and evaluation. That makes the RMR Type 2 a great choice here, one highly reliable and durable for handgun applications. Front and rear night sights co-witness with the optic.

An external light rail allows for the attachment of accessories. A one-piece magwell, contoured and hand blended, mates with VZ Alien grips. The black nitride barrel features an FDE thread protector and is suppressor ready. A tactical profile thumb safety delivers a shape that is comfortable for shooting, according to Ed Brown. A Tactical Edge slide stop, engraved slide and two, eight-round Ed Brown Performance Magazines in black nitride round out the package.
