Last year, Elite Survival Systems offered the Stealth Backpack, designed to transport an SBR or broken-down rifle secretly. Although the pack is large enough for a rifle, mission-critical gear, and a pistol, it’s big for an urban setting. For this reason, the company released a smaller, more streamlined version with its Stealth SBR backpack.
The Discreet Elite Survival Systems Stealth SBR Backpack
Featuring a discreet modern, urban appearance on the outside, the pack houses a robust tactical interior. Likewise, available in Black or Heather Gray, the Stealth has a heavy-duty exterior to withstand hard everyday use. Correspondingly, heavy-duty #10 zippers with quiet cord pull tabs provide quiet access to the pack’s contents.
The interior compartment has a length of 20 inches to accommodate most short-barreled rifles. However, unlike its big brother, it will not accommodate a broken-down AR-15. Lined with a loop panel, the firearm compartment allows for complete customization, including placement of the included tie-down system.
Like the original, the firearm compartment also features a zipper behind the firearm for the placement of a ballistic panel. In addition, two accessory compartments on the front of the pack allow for additional gear. One of the compartments also includes three built-in magazine pouches and a zippered mesh organizer. Additionally, hook and loop and MOLLE webbing allow for the placement of more storage pouches.
A vented back panel provides comfortable all-day wear, while an integrated stay offers support. The S-shaped straps feature comfortable padding and a sternum strap to help support the load. Finally, a waist strap with zippered pockets and quick release buckle help distribute the weight to your hips instead of shouldering the whole load.

The Stealth features two large compartments for firearms and accessories. Lining the entire rear compartment is a Velcro loop panel, with an adjustable tie-down system. As a result, you can configure the tie-down system to your specific rifle. Additionally, the front large compartment features Velcro loop Molle webbing for adding either Velcro or Molle accessories. Likewise, a smaller front admin compartment gives ample room for additional smaller items.
To help maintain security while carrying your rifle, a low-profile pistol compartment provides quick access to your pistol. Two mesh side pockets also allow for the carry of two water bottles, accessible without exposing your firearm.
The backpack is constructed of 500 denier nylon for durable use. Likewise, the heavy-duty #10 zippers feature quiet, easy pull tabs for quick access. Ensuring comfortable carry are two S-shaped backpack straps, sternum strap, and molded carry handle. In addition, a removable waist strap with zippered pockets and a quick-release buckle provides for extra carry compartments and the ability to carry heavy loads.
