Engage Targets at Greater Range With EOTech G43, G45 2X Magnifiers

Modern sporting rifles continue to dominate in popularity. As such, there are numerous ways to set up a carbine for duty or defense. For those running carbines with a reflex or red dot sight, a magnifier provides extreme versatility. Now EOTech announces the release of two new models, the G43 and G45, adding even greater magnification.

EOTech G43, G45 Magnifiers

The G45 5X Magnifier comes sized similarly to the company’s popular G33. But it now magnifies to 5X, giving greater capability to engage medium-range targets. The Shift-To-Side (STS) mount provides fast transition. The optic offers tool-free vertical and horizontal adjustments with a large field-of-view. The G45 also works with all EOTech HWS models and other red dots offering co-witness or lower 1/3 co-witness sights.

The G43 serves as a miniaturized version of the G33. Lightweight and compact, the G43 features a ruggedized rubber overmold. A 7mm spacer accommodates different height configurations.

“A significant advantage is gained when using a magnifier behind a holographic sight. Because the HWS is powered by a laser diode, and not an LED, the dot size stays 1MOA, with the magnifier in place, while the target gets 3-5 times bigger.” Said Mark Miller, EOTECH Product Manager. “When using a magnifier behind an LED red dot, the dot size grows at the same rate as the target, so no increased precision is recognized.”
