EOTech just announced the latest iteration of the Vudu line of riflescopes. The new EOTech Vudu X Series brings more affordable variants than ever before, all still bringing the important components and performance expected from EOTech. The new offerings come in both a 1-6×24 and 2-12×40 riflescope.
EOTech Vudu X Series Details
For the first time, the Vudu line attempts to go after the everyman, or “everyshooter,” by building an optic that most every shooter can afford, by comparison. At sub-$800 retail, EOTech certainly came a long way in accomplishing this feat. The basic configuration works for shooters interested in competing in 3-gun, hunting or simply recreational shooting.
“We developed the X series line of Vudu scopes to address the shooter that wants all of the accuracy, precision and durability of our legacy Vudu scopes, but with features and a price that better match their needs” said Mark Miller, Director of Product Management for EOTECH. “We have put in a lot of work in the designs of these scopes and as always, we ran them through the same excruciating testing that our other Vudu and holographic products go through. We are confident these will exceed expectations”.
Vudu X Series scopes start from a solid piece of aircraft-grade aluminum, finished with high-quality AR-coated glass. Introductory models feature a second focal plane topic design, allowing for quick and accurate targeting at all magnification levels. Its illuminated reticle helps promote accurate shooting during difficult low-light hours.
Both the 1-6x and 2-12x come with a 30mm tube diameter. A CR2032 battery powers the illuminated reticle. Each scope includes a removable throw lever for quick transitions across the magnification range. Available in MOA adjustments, the DP1 reticle provides a duplex crosshair, while the BD1 utilizes additonal circular ballistic holds at 2 MOA increments for longer distances. Capped turrets and flip-up scope caps round out the package.
