The FieldHunter Turkey marks the second turkey gun released by Escort this spring. Last month we brought you details on the gas-operated, semi-auto PS Turkey Hunter. Now the FieldHunter brings a pump-action platform equally suited for the hunt.
The FieldHunter chambers up to 3-inch magnum loads, down to 2 3/4-inch shells. The stock and forend utilizes synthetic polymer. Meanwhile, the extended forend proves ergonomic, promoting positive cycling. An aircraft ally receiver and hard-chromed steel barrel complete the package.
The FieldHunter Turkey comes in two different camo patterns: Realtree APG or Mossy Oak BottomLand. Each gun ships with three interchangeable chokes. A 5-inch-long cantilever optics rail features four cross-slots to accommodate a variety of Weaver mounts. The gun also sports a bright fiber-optic front and rear sights for low-light shooting.The red front fiber comes windage adjustable. Meanwhile, the green fiber rear sight adjusts for both windage and elevation. Both fibers remove to make way for mounted optics. Finally, all Hatsan barrels come hard-chrome lined for durability and corrosion resistance.
