ETS Unveils 30-, 40-Round CZ Scorpion Evo Magazine Options

Elite Tactical Systems (ETS Group) specializes in magazines. Not magazines like the ones we produce — you know, reading magazines — but actual ammo-feeding goodness. The latest ETS options to hit the market are the 30- and 40-round CZ Scorpion Evo magazine releases.

CZ Scorpion Evo Gets ETS Magazine Upgrade

From pistols to carbines and even SMGs (for military), the CZ Scorpion Evo is one of the more popular firearm platforms available. The new magazine from ETS adds to a laundry list of upgrades for the platform.

Again, both 30- and 40-round 9mm magazines are currently available. They are compatible with all generations of the CZ Scorpion Evo platform. Aside capacity, the standout feature is the build. ETS went with a clear polymer build. It’s a nice feature for those looking to keep tabs on round count. The clear build kind of makes the magazine look relatively fragile. However, ETS used advanced polymers “that provide extreme impact resistance” so the mags won’t crack or break if dropped. It doesn’t really matter anyway, as the mags come with a lifetime warranty.

As for the rest of the build ETS says, “With superior tolerances, these magazines won’t become brittle over time, even when exposed to harsh environments, chemicals, extreme cold, or UV rays. Their durable construction eliminates creep, so the feed lips and body won’t spread when being stored long term fully loaded.”

While these are nice magazines, they’re certainly not the first aftermarket mags for the Scorpion platform. Last year Magpul unveiled its PMAG D-50 EV9, which is a 50-round drum mag for the CZ Scorpion. In the end, all of these options make an aesthetic impression.

MSRPs come in at $21.99 for the 30-round mag and $24.99 for the 40-round mag. We’re looking forward to throwing one of these into a CZ Scorpion Evo 3 S2 Micro.
