Exclusive Video: The Ultra-Compact Walther PPS 9mm Pistol

Watch the video below to see the Walther PPS 9mm in action!

The Walther PPS is a single-stack 9mm pistol designed for concealed carry and personal protection. It features a thin polymer frame that still offers enough room to fit a whole hand on the grip for maximum comfort and control. The frame is textured for a very solid grip, and there are two different-sized interchangeable backstraps to best fit the hands of a variety of shooters.

The PPS’ standard magazines hold seven rounds and have a finger extension. Extra-capacity eight-round magazines are also available, as is a flush fitting six-round magazine. The low-profile, three-dot sights are bright and easy to pick up quickly. An accessory rail is also standard on the pistol.

Walther uses an ambidextrous, lever-style magazine release on the PPS that is a little different than some of the other more common paddle- and push-button-style releases available on the market. Using the middle finger of the shooting hand seemed to work best for me. After a little training on the range, it was very easy to run the gun.
