According to the press release, this new line of handgun loads from Federal is competitively priced and features the company’s versatile hollow-point (VHP) bullet housed in a reloadable brass case along with an extremely reliable primer. Federal’s Train + Protect VHP bullet offers the end user precise yet practical range performance, as well as instant and reliable expansion upon impact. The result is a good training round, and one which is touted by the company as being ideal for defending yourself and your loved ones.
Now shipping to dealers nationwide, Federal Premium’s Train + Protect ammunition lineup is available in three popular handgun cartridges and three weights, including 9mm Luger 115-grain, .40 S&W 180-grain and .45 ACP 230-grain options.
