FightLite Industries, a division of ARES Defense Systems, recently announced an upgrade to its AR-style belt-fed upper. The improved FightLite Raptor Belt-Fed Upper fits all Mil-Spec AR-15 and M16 lowers. For a limited time, the retail price drops $1,000, down to $3,999.99 through December 31, 2024.
FlightLite Raptor Belt-Fed Upper
Chambered in 5.56 NATO, the new Raptor features gas-piston operation and a toolless, quick-change barrel system. It seamlessly feeds from both AR-15 magazines and M27 linked ammunition common to the M249 SAW, according to FightLite.
The Raptor derives from the company’s flagship Mission Configurable Rifle (MCR). It comes optic-ready and in a “drop-on” configuration. A full-auto bolt carrier group installs rapidly. The system requires no modifications to install. A self-regulating gas piston increases reliability, while an integral MIL-STD 1913 rail adds versatility.
