More pew pew? Don’t mind if we do. Last year, Franklin Armory announced the coming of its first binary trigger for a striker-fired pistol, starting with Glock (below). Specifically, the Glock 17 Gen 3. And now, following much-awaited anticipation, the G-S173 is shipping.
The Franklin Armory G-S173 Binary Glock Trigger
Engineered with Franklin Armory’s patented Binary Firing System (BFS), the G-S173 is more than just a trigger. It’s a full system, providing the first pull-and-release trigger for Glock 17, allowing users to actively select between semi-automatic and binary modes. In addition, as with the company’s other binary triggers, the G-S173 allows the safe cancellation of the release round.

Along with the trigger, the kit also includes an updated slide with a mode selector at the rear. Designed for one-handed operation, the mode selector moves from semi-automatic to binary to take your Glock from pew to pew pew. However, if you need to cancel mid-fire, simply hold the trigger in and move the selector to semi-auto.
The slide includes front and rear tritium night sights but features an optic cut for use with red dot sights. In addition, high-tactile front and rear cocking serrations provide easy manipulation, even when wet. The back plate includes an integrated mode indicator so that you can determine the mode of fire quickly and easily.
