Now you can party like it’s the 19th Century with the Galco 1880s holster. This leather holster evokes the classic designs of the Old West at a price everyone likes.

If you wanted to get started in Cowboy Action Shooting but didn’t want to spend $500 on a fully custom cowboy rig, the new Galco 1880s is for you. Built for the budget of a working cowboy, the 1880s holster is available in strongside or crossdraw configurations. It fits large frame single action revolvers like the Ruger Vaquero or Colt Single Action Army and clones. Different models accommodate barrels lengths from 4 5/8ths inches all the way to 7 1/2 inches.

A hammer thong retention strap keeps your gun secure in the Galco 1880s holster no matter the conditions. For work on a ranch or a farm, this is absolutely necessary to keep the gun from dumping on the ground. If you’re running the 1880s holster for competition, simply leave the retention strap off.

The Galco 1880s fits belts up to 3 inches wide, including the new 1880s Cartridge Belt. Available for both .38/.357 and .44/.45 cartridges, the Premium Center Cut Steerhide of the 1880s belt is a much darker natural color, giving the assembled rig a handsome, two-tone appearance.
