Galco Offers Numerous Holsters Fit for Carry Optics Users

The popularity of carry optics for defense continues to rise, with new pistols and pistol-specific optics launching seemingly weekly. And with good reason, as the red dot optic, with proper understanding and training, becomes a great asset for shooting faster and more accurately. Now Galco offers several different holsters for those looking to utilize carry optics for defense.

Galco Carry Optics Holsters

The company’s patent-pending BlakGuard belt holster combines the best properties of Premium Center Cut Steerhide and injection-molded plastic. An adjustable internal retention device secures the handgun at the trigger guard. Meanwhile, neutral cant offers a natural, wrist-locked draw stroke. A trench-style sight rail accommodates most suppressor sights.

The Ankle Guard fuses the BlakGuard’s design and retention system with a comfortable sheepskin-padded neoprene ankle cuff. The holster fits ankles up to 13 inches in circumference. An optional Boot Extended increases for larger legs or boot wear.

The Corvus converts from a belt holster to an IWB design. An open top promotes a fast draw. It also features adjustment for ride height and cant. The Coruvus works well for defensive carry, according to Galco. The system provides users with two holsters in one.

The new Paragon works well for appendix carry. It features dual tuckable belt clips, riding in slots fore and aft of the gun body. Raised sweat guards on both sides protect the wearer’s body from the gun. The Paragon includes a claw-type stabilizing wing for optional use.
