In March, we reported on the Galco FasTrax PAC Elite for subcompact pistols. It brought the fanny pack carry back with updated utility. Now Galco updates the design, with the FasTrax beefed up to accept compact pistols. And at a time where many first-time buyers are turning to guns for protection, the new FasTrax couldn’t come at a better time.

Galco FasTrax PAC
The updated FasTrax PAC fits handguns larger than the original. Semi-automatic pistols such as the Glock 19 or S&W M&P Compact now fit in the FasTrax. Best of all, it still fits all the subcompacts of the original design, creating a versatile carry system.
The PAC uses a combination of a pivoting holster component and external activation cord. This enables users to get the gun into action much faster. To maximize comfort, the PAC’s back panel features Galco’s Comfort Cloth. The soft, breathable adaptive performance mesh keeps the boy cool, according to Galco.
Finally, the PAC remains comfortable. It features an adjustable, stretchable elasticized waist strap. Meanwhile, a Nexus buckle provides quick on-off capability. The contemporary front face utilizes a zippered pocket that carries EDC items such as ammunition, keys, a wallet, phone or flashlight. A pass-through port on the front pocket accommodates cables or earbuds.
The Galco FasTrax PAC comes in gray/black or MultiCam Black, retailing between $89 and $109. For more information, visit galcogunleather.com.
