Ballistic glasses maker Gatorz has teamed up with retired Green Beret Tu Lam for their latest, Limited-Edition Ronin Collection. Hence, comes a product with as much form as function.

Built on their popular Magnum frame, the Limited-Edition Ronin Collection features the Rōnin Tactics dragon engraved on the temples. To clarify, Rōnin Tactics is a training company founded by Tu Lam, teaching military, law enforcement and civilians the finer points of weapons and tactics.

The MILSPEC Ballistic Lenses Meet MIL PRF 32432A, Clause 4.8.4 Ballistic Fragmentation Protection. Additionally, they are compliant with ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 2015 Standard. For this reason, the lenses are tested to withstand two hits from a .15-caliber projectile between 700-725 feet per second. The lenses showed no cracking, shattering or dislodging as a result of the testing.

Gatorz Ronin Collection Ballistic Glasses

Featuring Inferno photochromic lenses, the glasses provide UV 400 protection and automatically darken when exposed to UV rays. However, when used indoors or in low-light scenarios, the lenses provide clear protection. Although it is worth noting that they will not darken in a vehicle with windshields featuring UV blockers. The lenses also feature an anti-fog coating for clear visuals during inclement conditions.

Constructed of lightweight, durable, aerospace grade aluminum the glasses feature thin temples and fit under a helmet or ear protection. Also, the fully adjustable frame and nosepiece ensure a comfortable and secure fit, every time.

The Ronin Collection glasses are available in your choice of Red Cerakote or Black. Every pair includes a hand autographed print in addition to a field kit containing a lens cleaner, eyewear strap, gasket foam inserts and nosepiece/repair kit.
