Gerber, a leading global supplier of personal outdoor, tactical and industrial gear, has unveiled the Decree folding knife, new for 2014.
The Gerber Decree folding knife features a premium S30V steel modified drop point blade with a length of 3.7 inches. As the press release points out, the point provides superior piercing ability, while the rounded bottom edge enables the end user to sharpen the blade without altering its geometry. This knife also features ambidextrous thumb studs and a finger flip tab which allow for rapid deployment of the blade.
The blade has black ceramic coating which provides optimum corrosion resistance and minimizes reflective surfaces. The partial serrations provide additional cutting power, while the tempered steel glass breaker in the pommel allows for the knife to be used in rescue operations. The glass-filled nylon handle has a rubberized diamond texture for a firm, secure grip in any possible weather conditions. The handle also has a reversible pocket clip for tip-up or tip-down carry, and a lanyard hole.
The manufacturer suggested retail price for the Gerber Decree folding knife is $95.00. See below for additional details.
