The Girsan Negotiator Series Gets a High Power Addition in 9mm

Modeled after the Browning Hi-Power, the new Girsan High Power Negotiator is the latest collaboration from TALO and EAA. Following the successful release of the Negotiator Match 1911 (below), the High Power includes many of the same high-quality features. Along with performance features, the High Power also provides the aesthetics you would expect from a custom-grade pistol.

The Girsan High Power Negotiator

Featuring a Titanium nitrate finish on both the slide and the frame, the High Power Negotiator is built to last. Modeled after the Browning Hi-Power, the pistol features G-10 grip panels with grooves and hex patterning for a solid purchase. A small Girsan medallion is embedded in the grip panels for additional aesthetics.

Featuring an extended beavertail grip, the High Power Negotiator mitigates the risk of slide bite during courses of fire. Additionally, the ambidextrous thumb safety ensures safe handling until you are ready to shoot. A three-slot Picatinny rail sits just forward of the trigger guard for the addition of a light or laser.

The slide includes rear cocking serrations that mirror the original Browning Hi-Power design. In addition, forward slide cuts help to reduce weight and showcase the 4.87-inch gold-colored barrel. Riding atop the slide is a rear adjustable sight coupled with a fiber optic front sight.

Like the Match 1911, the High Power Negotiator features a gold titanium nitrate finish on the barrel, pins/screws, trigger, hammer, safety, extractor, and all small parts. As a result, the pistol delivers a striking aesthetic.

Chambered in 9mm, the High Power features a flared magwell for easy mag swaps. Correspondingly, the pistol has a capacity of 15+1. Rounds are sent downrange via a straight, crisp trigger.

The Girsan Negotiator Match 1911

Featuring a forged carbon steel frame, the Negotiator is a true 1911 through and through—built for hard use. The full-size 1911 provides a solid purchase via laminated and checkered G-10 grip panels. Likewise, checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing also helps to enhance the grip during courses of fire.

An extended beavertail, with a grip safety, ensures the same grip every time, mitigating the possibility of slide bite. The grip safety couples with an ambidextrous thumb safety for increased safe carry and handling when not ready to shoot. Additionally, the dust cover offers a three-slot Picatinny rail for the attachment of lights, lasers, or other accessories.

Riding atop the frame is the carbon steel slide with forward and rear cocking serrations. Inside the forward serrations are three lightning holes that help reduce the weight and add a nice aesthetic. A fully adjustable rear sight couples with a fiber optic front sight to achieve fast sight alignment. The frame and slide feature a grey titanium nitride finish to add to the durability of the 1911.

Providing a striking two-tone look, all of the controls, pins, barrel, and hammer all feature a gold titanium nitride finish. The 5-inch gold-finished custom carbon steel barrel is chambered in .45 Auto. Correspondingly, rounds are sent downrange via a hand-tuned action with a skeletonized trigger and long-hole hammer. In addition, the Negotiator offers 8+1 capacity in the single stack magazine.
