There are two Glock models that, for no particular legal reason, were not available in the United States—the G28 and G25. Specifically, the two models did not meet the criteria for importing firearms, according to the Gun Control Act of 1968. Based on an arbitrary point system for import, the models previously did not make muster. However, TALO Inc. has done the due diligence to bring them to the U.S. market. The G28 arrived earlier this year, and now the G25 is here.

The Glock G25 Gen 3

The G25 shares its size and overall makeup with the G19 and G23 platforms. As a result, the model provides a nice blend of handling and concealability. Likewise, the grip features familiar Glock stippling and textured finger grooves and backstrap for enhanced control during courses of fire. In addition, texturing on the front of the squared trigger guard helps to aid in positive retention.

The addition of a light or laser is achieved via the single-slot Picatinny rail, just forward of the trigger guard. Atop the frame is the highly recognizable Glock slide with rear cocking serrations. The slide features an ample 6.02-inch sight radius between the drift adjustable rear sight and fixed blade front sight.

The slide also houses the 4.02-inch barrel chambered in .380 Auto, providing a low recoil concealed carry option. Delivering a 15+1 round capacity, the G25 comes in at a carry-friendly 27.69 ounces loaded. Rounds are sent downrange via the grooved Glock Safe Action trigger. Correspondingly, the trigger has a pull weight of 5.5 pounds.
