GPO Announces the SPECTRAdot Tactical & Hunting Rifle Scope

German Precision Optics (GPO) continues its aggressive approach to the marketplace, launching more affordable optics options. Just a couple of weeks ago, we brought you news of the new GPO SPECTRA 6X line of riflescopes. Now the GPO SPECTRAdot red dot optic hits the market, bringing both tactical and hunting features to shooters.

The SPECTRAdot works on carbines, rifles and shotguns, whether tactical or sporting setup. It features a high-efficiency power management system. It runs off a single CR2032 battery, delivering up to 50,000 hours of runtime. The optic mounts via either Weaver or Picatinny rails.

It adjusts impact via 1/2 MOA windage and elevation click adjustments. The red dot brightness measures 3 MOA. Additionally, it enables the use of the SPECTRAdot in a variety of lighting conditions, offering six daytime and five nighttime settings.

Red dot excel in tactical scenarios due to their speed and efficient target acquisition capabilities. Those features made red dots go to choices for many military and law enforcement uses. But hunting brings similar needs. From Alaskan brown bears in thick cover, to turkeys in Eastern hard woods, the red dot brings lots of utility to sportsmen as well.

The GPO SPECTRAdot offers a small footprint. It measures 2.53 inches long, 1.4 inches tall and 1.78 inches long. The SPECTRAdot weighs a mere 6.63 ounces. Meanwhile, it comes IPX-7 waterproof submersible rated.
