Team Armalite’s Greg Jordan Repeats at FNH USA 3-Gun Championship

For the second year in a row, Team ArmaLite’s Greg Jordan won the TacOps and High Law Enforcement titles with his overall win at the 2014 FNH USA 3-Gun Championship held Sept. 18-20, at the Peacemaker National Training Center in Glegary, W. Va.

Jordan finished in the top position on five of the nine stages of the competition, giving him an overall score of 848.42 points, a total of 47.34 match points more than his next rival, according to a release.

Jordan shoots one of the first models of the ArmaLite 3-Gun Rifle Series—an ArmaLite M153GN18. This rifle sports the new ArmaLite 15-inch low profile aluminum handguard, a 3-pound Timney single-stage trigger, an ArmaLite triple lapped 18-inch stainless steel barrel with the new tunable muzzle brake and adjustable gas block. He attributes much of his ability to handle both the close- and long-range rifle stage requirements of competitions like the FNH USA 3-Gun National Championships to his equipment.

“The FNH USA Championship is one of those matches that you never really know what to expect,” Jordan said in a release. “Once I had the opportunity to walk the stages I knew that we would be tested on both ends of the shooting spectrum. This is where your gear comes into play. It has to allow you to operate at maximum speed on one stage and then provide extreme accuracy on the next. This is why 3-gun is such a great test ground for gear, and why I feel my ArmaLite rifle gives me an edge.”

Also competing for Team ArmaLite was Tommy Thacker, President of ArmaLite and Team Captain. Thacker placed eight in TacOps and 11th overall.
