1. Realtree 24+6 Gun

Realtree gun safes are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty with a 1-year protected electronic lock. These safes have a fire rating of 45 minutes. The 24+6 safe is made of 12-gauge steel and comes with a preinstalled door organizer and multiple layers of fireboard. In addition, the safe has six adjustable shelves, 24 adjustable long barrel rests, and eight scope rests. It weighs 521 pounds and is a Smart Safe with a user-programmable code.

2. Remington Big Green

The Remington Big Green gun safe is a whopper of a storage option for those with many firearms. Not to mention those in need of room to grow their collection. You can store 84 long guns and eight handguns in this one safe. The Big Green gun safe is fire-tested for 90 minutes and weighs 1,139 pounds. It is made of 12-gauge steel and has a SecuRam UL-rated keypad.

The safe is outfitted with interior lighting, a dual outlet with two USB ports, and a fully carpeted interior and shelving. Likewise, it is already set up with a quilted door organizer. Finally, it’s backed by a Lifetime Warranty against theft, fire, and natural flood. This covers locks, parts, and paint.

3. Remington Gun Club 26-Gun Safe

Remington’s new Gun Club gun safes come in five models, and the 26-gun safe is the mid-tier option. This safe is fire-rated for 40 minutes and is also outfitted with the SecuRam UL-rated electronic lock. It holds 26 long guns and four handguns.

The interior features full carpeting, carpeted barrel rests, a quilted door organizer, and a UL-rated dual power outlet with two USB ports. Correspondingly, the Gun Club 26-Gun safe weighs 372 pounds on its own.

4. Hayman BH 5930 E

Hayman Safe Company introduced several new gun safes and storage options at SHOT Show 2024. This is the company’s mid-level gun safe, which comes with a one-year parts and labor warranty and a Lifetime burglary guarantee. It has a 90-minute fire rating and 26 long gun rack positions.

The door features handgun storage pockets as well as small loops for unique storage. It also has an 11-gauge steel body, a 5-spoke handle, and a digital keypad. The whole package weighs 650 pounds overall.

5. Hayman MM 4814 E

The Minuteman line from Hayman focuses on home defense gun storage. Specifically focusing on keeping the firearm secure while providing end users fast access to their long guns. This model stores one long gun up to 39 inches and is best stored muzzle down for ease of deployment.

This gun safe is installed into a standard interior wall for maximum concealment. It has a UL-listed electronic lock with an optional biometric. The door drops outward with an adjustable hook and loop interior storage system and motion-activated light. Likewise, a luminous tape strip surrounds the keypad.

6. Cannon Courage

Cannon’s new Courage line is brand new this year. The new line has a carpeted interior with diamond-quilted walls and super-soft shelves that don’t mar gun finishes. The door is lined with pistol pockets, a Velcro loop for easy mounting, and several other pouches for storage options. These aren’t listed on Cannon’s website yet, but they are coming soon.

7. Hornady Mobilis Safe

New from Hornady this year is the Mobilis Safe. It is a modular safe designed to be transported and assembled piece by piece in any room of your choice. Hornady even includes a tool kit with everything you need for assembly. It has a 60-minute fire shield protection and is made of 9 gauge 2-ply steel walls.

The Square-Lok™ interior organizing system maximizes storage space according to your preferences. Correspondingly, the Metal Square-Lok™ shelves and rifle/pistol gun racks can be configured to suit your needs. The Mobilis includes a built-in 120V outlet and USB power strip and is pre-drilled for floor mounting.

8. Falcon Gun Safe

The gun safe from Falcon is more of a protective cabinet. It weighs about 150 pounds and is a smaller storage space for someone looking to store mostly long guns and a few handguns. It has bracket holders for five long guns and a removable shelf and tray up top for pistols. This gun safe is made of solid steel and has a digital lock as well as a mechanical key lock. Correspondingly, it is secured by five locking bolts.

9. Winchester Single Door Defender

If you’re familiar with the Double Door Safe from Winchester, this is the little brother to that design. You still have the UL Securam Lock and the UL-rated fireboard protection in the ceiling, walls, and door. Likewise, the Gunstixx system in Winchester safes allows you to keep your long guns upright to fit more guns into the safe properly.

10. Blue Dot Second Amendment Gun Safe

The Second Amendment Safe has a 12-gauge steel body and weighs 879 pounds. Additionally, it has 51 rifle slots, eight gun holsters, and five extra storage pouches on the door. There are also two full gun shelves and six small adjustable interior shelves for additional storage. The Second Amendment gun safe provides one hour of fireproof protection for peace of mind.

11. SnapSafe Titan Modular Safe

SnapSafe designed a line of modular gun safes that are easily assembled, moveable piece-by-piece, and lock into place in minutes—with no tools. The Titan model is 59 inches high, weighs 400 pounds, and features a 9-slot full gun rack. As a result, it has the capacity to store 12 long guns comfortably. 12. Goodwill Safes Gorilla FS-30E

Goodwill Saigon Safes was new to me at SHOT Show. They sell gun safes, cabinets, depository safes, file cabinets, and more. The FS-30E is a traditional gun safe with a 12-gauge steel thickness and a gun capacity of up to 30 long guns. In addition, it has a fire rating of 30 minutes and weighs 380 pounds.

I’m filing this over gun storage vs. gun safe because it’s a very mobile storage option when traveling. This innovative idea is designed around a traditional headrest you can swap out in your own vehicle. Correspondingly, you can find a design that mostly matches your car’s interior. The heavy-duty 18-gauge steel Headrest Safe is nothing to take lightly. The steel lock opens with biometrics, a keypad, or a mechanical key. It even locks in place to prevent theft.

6. SKB iSeries 4909-5

If you don’t know SKB cases by now, you have been missing out. The company makes some of the best hard cases and travel cases, offering protection for your firearms wherever you go.

7. Nanuk 988 4-Up Rifle Case

Nanuk has many options for storage and travel cases for not just guns but camera gear, ice fishing poles, EMT gear, and more. One of its larger new offerings is the 988 case that fits four rifles. This case is waterproof and has six PowerClaw latches. The rifles must be under 39.75 inches in length. However, the case does allow for scopes, red dots, and iron sights. The center cavities also leave room for storage of up to 12 magazines.

8. DASCO Weapon Work Bench

DASCO had some new products for military and law enforcement. However, what intrigued me most was their Weapon Work Bench, designed for the DIY gun builder, gunsmith, and armorer. This workbench has a large flat workspace with protective matting to protect the finish of any gun you’re working on.

Additionally, there is an Expandable Weapon Rack (EWR) to mount long guns or handguns upright when you’re not working on them. Likewise, you can attach storage containers for parts or tools, and there is also a drawer to keep everything organized. The EWRs are available in different heights and widths based on your needs.
