Gunwerks ClymR
Billed as a mountain hunting rifle with long-range capability, the Gunwerks ClymR is built on the company’s GLR action, which is Remington 700-style action. The GLR action is for both left and right-handed shooters; it’s also available in either stainless steel or titanium. In addition, the barrel comes in standard, fluted and carbon wrap configurations. The user has three muzzle brake options: a thread cap, or the company’s radial brake or directional brake.
The ClymR is chambered for the following calibers: .22 Creedmoor; .22-250 Remington; 28 Nosler; 30 Nosler; .300 RUM; .300 Winchester Magnum; .375 H&H; .375 Ruger; 6mm Creedmoor; 6.5mm Creedmoor; 6.5 PRC; 6.5-284 Norma; 6 XC; 7mm LRM; 7mm SAUM; and 7mm Remington Magnum. Standard floorplate and detachable box magazine options are available.
Meanwhile, the stock, which comes in either carbon fiber or fiberglass, features a flush-mount bipod rail; Gunwerks recoil pad; spacer system for LOP adjustments; integrated flush cup QD sling mounts; and an aluminum bedding block. The stock weighs between 1.85 to 2.35 pounds and is available in a dozen different finishes.
Furthermore, various scope, scope rings and turret options are available.
“Our industry is fascinated with tiny little mountain rifles. As well as big rifle rigs that ding steel at 1200 yards,” Gunwerks says. “The ClymR was conceived as minimalist, mountain-mission ready long range capable platform.”
The base price for the Gunwerks ClymR is $5,750. Watch the video below to learn more about it.
