With more than 30 years of knife crafting experience between the two of them, it’s no surprise that HallMark Cutlery tapped Sean Kendrick and David Mosier for a dual custom collaboration on the company’s “Bad Blood” line.
The duo designed the all new Burning Horizon blade. Unlike other collaborations for the HallMark Cutlery Bad Blood line, this one is made in the U.S. It is Hallmark Cutlery’s first U.S.-made “Mid-Tech,” manufactured by Chad Nichols Damascus.
The titanium frame lock showcases the design styles of both Kendrick and Mosier. The knife also includes a titanium handle for a sleek look.
A closed length of 5 inches makes the knife easy to carry. The mid-tech features a blade length of 3.5 inches.
The knife is the first in the series of mid-techs as HallMark Cutlery plans to produce semi-annual editions to the series. Production is limited to 200 pieces with each blade individually serialized.
The Burning Horizon retails for $400 and is expected to be delivered in June 2014.
