Hi-Point fans have been clamoring for more information about the new 1095TS 10mm carbine ever since the Ohio-based gun maker first put out a teaser video on YouTube a few months back. We now know more thanks to a press release from distributor MKS Supply.

According to the presser, the Hi-Point 1095TS 10mm carbine sports a 17.5-inch barrel threaded to .578×28 TPI. It also features a six-pound single-stage trigger; all-weather, black molded polymer skeletonized stock; rubber cheek rest; and flat receiver cover. The gun also has an overall length of 32 inches, weighs in at seven pounds and comes with one 10-round magazine.
In the works since spring 2017 due to customer demand for an affordable carbine chambered in 10mm, Hi-Point has—ahem—high hopes for the 1095TS, stating that when a 10mm round is fired from a barrel several inches longer than a handgun, the velocity, range and energy “jumps up,” making it “so powerful it’s even legal for big game hunting in some states.”
“This new carbine chambered for the potent 10mm cartridge will make a lot of buyers happy,” MKS president Charles Brown said. “Tough, reliable and accurate, it fills the bill for a robust, reliable and accurate firearm that delivers excellent performance.”
Now for the best part: the Hi-Point 1095TS 10mm carbine will be available at a MSRP of just $389.99.
