High Speed Gear Core Cummerbund Expands the Plate Carrier’s Options

Recently High Speed Gear released the Core Plate Carrier, an adjustable, low profile option for law enforcement and civilians, alike. However, they weren’t done with the streamlined platform. With the addition of the Cummerbund, High Speed Gear adds additional MOLLE real estate to the low-profile carrier.

The Core plate carrier is a comfortable, low-profile plate carrier with a focus on mobility and scalability. Also, available in four sizes, it can accommodate small, medium, large and extra-large SAPI and commercial plates. However, with large MOLLE panels on the front and back, the Core can scale to fit the need of the individual.

And now, with the introduction of the Cummerbund for the Core plate carrier, the scalability of the Core just increased. According to High Speed Gear the Cummerbund is the first upgrade to the Core Plate Carrier. Like the plate carrier, the Cummerbund is also available in a variety of colors, to match your carrier. Similarly, it is available in three different sizes, based on the user’s body type.

With five rows of laser-cut MOLLE webbing, the Cummerbund allows the user to add mission essential gear and accessories to the carrier. As a result, if it is MOLLE compatible, you can attach it. For example, add medical equipment, extra magazine pouches, a dump pouch and more to your Core Plate Carrier. Furthermore, the Cummerbund requires no additional setup to attach to the Core plate carrier, they are already set up to work together.
