Hogue Introduces Polymer 15 Degree Vertical Grip for AR-15/M16

Heads up, tactical shooters: Hogue is introducing its new AR-15/M16 polymer 15 degree vertical grip.

Precision engineered by Hogue’s designers, this new 15 degree grip allows for a more natural hand position in close quarter situations than the standard 30 degree angle grips for the AR/15/M16. According to the press release, the stacking formation used by the military in close quarter combat requires the rifle to be square with the chest, and for the elbows to be tight up against the body, which forces the hand into a sharper angle. The new Hogue vertical grip meets the hand in the proper position to make grip comfort effortless for the shooter.

The AR-15/M16 polymer 15 degree vertical grip is made from durable lightweight polymer designed with a hollow center for weight efficiency. And it certainly delivers in that regard. The grip weighs in at a mere 1.5 ounces. Meanwhile, the surfaces incorporates Hogue’s Cobblestone texture, providing a non-slip, non-irritating stippling pattern. There’s also a recessed dish behind the trigger, which increases comfort and creates a smooth and easy transition for the finger to the trigger. Addressing the needs of builders, the grip also has a clearance added in the top to allow for an upper receiver tensioning screw.

This grip is available in Black, OD Green and Flat Dark Earth with an MSRP of $19.95.
