NTOA Awards Silver Rating to Holosun & Primary Arms Co-Branded Optic

A joint venture between Holosun and Primary Arms just led to a prominent distinction in the law enforcement community. The Holosun HS507C-X2, with ACSS Vulcan Reticle, received a silver rating from the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA). The rating comes after extensive product testing.

The NTOA serves as a voice for law enforcement products and equipment, leveraging a network of experienced evaluators. The NTOA tests include weeks of practical assessment, concluding with a final product score. Optics criteria include design, performance, ease of use, size, quality, durability, storage, versatility, convenience, application, comfort, accuracy and cleaning and maintenance. A product must earn a sufficient score across all areas to pass. A silver rating constitutes an average score of 4-4.9 out of 5.

Primary Arms recently submitted the co-branded Holosun HS507C-X2 with ACCS Vulcan reticle. The pistol sight scored a 4.36 overall. Testing officers noted the optic’s speed in target acquisition. They also noted ease of use and durability. One evaluator commented the optic earned a spot on their department’s approved RDS optic list, according to Primary Arms. The department will use it on loaner pistols for tactical training courses.
