Employing Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) for instant access, Hornady’s new RAPiD Safe system for handguns provides users with instant access to their chosen firearm as well as secure storage. To access the contents of the safe, simply place the included RFID bracelet, card or key fob over the reader, and the RAPiD safe springs open. In addition, the unit will accept a personally programmed code for access and can be accessed with a conventional key lock. The system functions off of AC power, and a battery backup system ensures total reliability.
