The Hornady RAPiD Safe Ready Vault Provides Notifications Via Wi-Fi

I think any responsible gun owner will agree that keeping your firearms secured is essential. This is especially the case when you have children in the house. Not to mention, many states have strict laws requiring that all guns be secured when not in use. For this reason, Hornady offers a line of RAPiD Safe options, including their latest Ready Vault with Wi-Fi connectivity.

Constructed of heavy-duty steel and five hardening lugs, Ready Vaults are engineered to withstand a barrage of attacks. This includes prying, dropping, picking, sawing, and targeted hinge attacks. For this reason, Ready Vaults exceed ASTM international safety standards for security.

As part of the RAPiD Safe line, Ready Vaults utilize RFID lock-opening technology. Particularly, swiping an RFID-equipped wristband, key fob, or decal over the sensor will instantly open the door. As part of the RAPiD Safe line, the RFID tags can also open multiple other safes programmed to the tag.

If you need to access the safe and do not have an RFID tag handy, Ready Vault also has a programmable digital keypad and mechanical key. Correspondingly, an AC-powered lock with battery backup ensures entry even when the power is out.

A unique feature on the Ready Vault is the Wi-Fi connectivity. As a result, the safe will send a notification to a phone or other portable device when opened. Likewise, the Hornady app will alert the owner to critical information regarding authorized or unauthorized entry.

The Ready Vault includes internal SQUARE-LOK walls for a customizable organizing system. Consequently, SQUARE-LOK compatible accessories can be mounted in user-determined configurations. Including the provided gun racks and add-on accessories, such as LED lights, magnetic hooks, hygrometers, and dehumidifiers. Likewise, a padded neoprene floor mat helps prevent long guns from slipping when stored upright in the coated gun racks.

Available in two different sizes—large and Compact—the larger holds up to six long guns and fourteen handguns. Similarly, the Compact accommodates two pistols and up to three shotguns or rifles.
