Like any successful manufacturer, innovation is key when it comes to Hornady’s ammunition. At last year’s Athlon Outdoors Rendezvous, Hornady wowed us with its brand-new 300 PRC ammo. In 2019, Hornady gave us a sneak peek at the new additions to its Sub X line.
Hornady Sub X Subsonic Line Grows
The Sub X line launched two years ago. It’s a subsonic load that expands at low velocities. At the time, the only available available option was .300 Blackout. Hornady gave us the scoop and said the subsonic expanding ammo line is now expanding further. Is that confusing? So the ammo expands, and now the line is expanding … as in it’s growing in caliber selection. A lot of expansion.
“We’re going to offer the subsonic line in .30-30, .45-70, and the .450 Bushmaster, along with some pistol rounds like 9mm, .40, and .45.”
