Houlding Precision Firearms is introducing their HPF-15 G2L Lower Receivers, new for 2014. These lower receivers were precision machined on CNC machining centers using a solid billet aluminum bar (not from a forging or a casting) for optimum strength and tolerance. The HPF-15 G2L includes a flared magwell, an integrated trigger guard with a US flag on it, safety and fire icons which are engraved on the lower, and a checkered front strap. Though these lowers were designed to match upper receivers manufactured by Houlding Precision Firearms, they are, in fact, compatible with most AR-15 uppers. The HPF-15 G2L is also designed for use with a variety of different calibers, including .223/5.56 and also includes a type 3 hard coat anodized finish.
With the release of their new lower receiver, Houlding Precision Firearms has released a lower receiver with a reinforced design for maximum strength. The HPF-15 G2L, like all products which bear the Houlding Precision Firearms name, was made in the United States at their manufacturing facility located in Central Valley in California, where the company maintains total control over all aspects of the manufacturing process. The manufacturer suggested retail price for this product is not yet available. See below for additional details.
