Howa Oryx Chassis Features
Howa’s Oryx stocks deliver compatibility with three Howa action sizes: Short Action, Mini Action and Long Action. Further, the chassis system accommodates Remington 700 short action, Ruger American short action, Savage 110 short action and Tikka short action models.
The aircraft grade aluminum chassis delivers an adjustable overall length of pull ranging from 13.25 to 15 inches. Additionally, the stock utilizes a contoured forend grip, adjustable cheek riser and overmolded pistol grip. Further, these key features provide a comfortable, solid hold and sure grip, according to Legacy Sports.
The Howa Oryx Chassis is available exclusively from Legacy Sports International. Moreover, a drop-in system, shooters need to only remove their barreled action from the original manufacturer stock and drop into the Oryx.
Howa offers the Oryx in three color choices: OD Green, Flat Dark Earth and Gray. Also, the aluminum chassis frame comes in black with each model. Finally, the Oryx retails for $399.
Howa also offers the stock system as a standard component with its own M1500 Oryx rifle model. The M1500 Oryx comes in 6mm Creedmoor, 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Win., .300 BLK, .223 Rem., 7.62×39 and 6.5 Grendel. Further, Howa offers a long-action model in .300 Win. Mag. as well.
Also available in OD Green, Flat Dark Earth and Gray, and with options for a Nikko Stirling 30mm 4-16x44mm riflescope, the M1500 Oryx starts at $1,059 MSRP.
