The Hydra BMP-23 reinvents the Gwinn Firearms-designed Bushmaster Arm Pistol of the early 1970s, complete with its unique 40-degree swivel design.

The BMP-23 comprises a lightweight aluminum and steel design, weighing 5.2 pounds with built-in iron sights. It sports an 11.5-inch chrome-moly barrel and an AK-47-type gas piston operating system. Originally conceived by firearms innovator Mack Gwinn, Jr., the new BMP-23 comes chambered in 5.56 and retains many of the innovative design elements of the predecessor. The swivel design sets up for either right- or left-hand operation.
