Kansas Concealed-Carry Gun Licenses Recognized in VA and WA

This brings the total number of other states recognizing the license to 36, Attorney General Derek Schmidt said in an e-mailed statement. Currently, 80,810 Kansans hold active concealed carry licenses. A law passed by the Legislature last year allows all valid out-of-state permits to be recognized in the state when the person is traveling through Kansas.
