Leupold just announced the latest additions to its popular Performance Eyewear line. The new Payload, Refuge and Cheyenne styles bring three new lightweight, rugged options for range use. The new styles feature polarized lenses and ballistic frames for virtually any outdoor pursuit.
Leupold Performance Eyewear Additions
Each new styles comes in multiple lens and frame combinations, adding 11 total new sets of eyewear. Each variant features lightweight, ballistic-rated materials. They include scratch-resistant polarized lenses, both rugged and clear, according to Leupold.
“Our products outperform the competition under the harshest conditions, without fail–and the Performance Eyewear line has been no different,” said Zach Bird, Product Line Manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “The Payload, Refuge, and Cheyenne designs ensure that hunters, anglers, and outdoorsmen and women everywhere have a set of Leupold Performance Eyewear that meet their needs and personal style.”
Leupold designed the Payload for anglers and outdoorsmen on the water. It features Lens Ventilation and delivers a clear image while eliminating glare. The design helps you see past the water’s surface to what lies beneath. It comes with a wrap-around design, ANSI Z87.1+ certified frames and ballistic-rated lenses.
The Refuge brings features from its bigger brother, the Becnara, in anew, sleek style, according to Leupold. The smaller frame makes the Refuge also fashionable. It comes with polarized lens.
The Cheyenne features a low-profile frame, fitting hunters and shooters with smaller faces. A full-wrap design offers protection from the elements. It maintains maximum visibility and air flow.
All three styles share numerous top-of-the-line features, including In-Fused polarized lenses. The lenses eliminate glare and keep your eyes from straining on the water. The company’s Guard-ion hydrophobic coating sheds dirt, water, and fingerprints. Diamondcoat-hardened lenses reduce surface scratches. A no-slip-bridge design helps with all-day comfort.
