Like many of you, I have had a spectrum of boots pass through my closet. Each held the hopes of being “the boot” that would serve me across multiple applications. While each had its strengths, most eventually ended up in the corner. Ultimately, I wanted a lightweight, durable mid-rise boot with an exceptionally flexible outsole. Throw into that mix the requirement for it to have a comfortable insole because I would be in them for 12 to 16 hours at a time. The boot uses the unique BOA Fit System, which provides a secure, adjustable fit. This system has found its way into multiple applications. From helmets to boots. I found them to be comfortable right out of the box. The break-in period for me was about ten minutes as I worked to find the right tension on the BOA system. It is no secret that I am brutal with my footwear. While I will use them in training and courses, they end up being all-purpose footwear.
