Longtime Glock aftermarket accessory and component company Lone Wolf Arms just got in the pistol game. The new Lone Wolf Lightweight Tactical Defense (LTD) pistol line brings another Glock-pattern firearm to the market. And first up are two Glock 19-type variants well suited for concealed carry pursuits.
Lone Wolf LTD Pistol
The Lone Wolf LTD incorporates all the lessons learned as a company producing parts for Glock pistols. It features a Timberwolf Frame, which comes slimmer in design. Lightweight, Lone Wolf removes material from the slide for a quicker cycling pistol. It exhibits less recoil and carries well, according to Lone Wolf.
Each pistol takes Glock magazines. It comes with two slide variations, including nitride or stainless steel. Bot offer reduced reciprocating mass.
A radiused undercut on the frame helps promote a high grip. A relived-radius tang assists while effectively lowering bore axis. It also helps distribute recoil impulse across the web of the hand, according to Lone Wolf.
A low-profile magazine well helps promote fast reloads. Meanwhile, the Timberwolf grip angle gives the pistol a more traditional feel.
Glock pistols remain one of the most popular platforms for good reason. As such, we’ve seen several companies transform from mere components to full pistol manufacturers. In December, ZEV Technologies continued its transformation, even moving on to SIG-pattern guns. So for popular brands and platforms, Lone Wolf becomes the latest to push its take on the vaunted Glock design. And we no reason to think it won’t be a success.
The LTD comes in black or grey. For even more info, please visit lonewolfdist.com.
